GT80 SLI Titan has 4 SSD slots, 3x2280 and 1x2.5" and theoretically you can have 4 different operating systems on it. I do the cloning about twice a month so the clone is always several weeks out of date as it should be, I don't want to clone every single day or even once a week in case there is a problem, I want to see it before it gets cloned to the backup drive and wipe it out too. That is, copy everything from clone -> primary. That works out nicely, if there is a virus or an issue, I can always boot off the secondary boot drive, which is the clone and recover it to the primary boot drive. There is no raid, they are independent drives and I clone the primary boot drive with Macrium Reflect to the backup boot drive. So I replaced both of them with 1TB Samsung 2280 SSDs and they have been nice and much faster. I broke the RAID1 the machine came installed with, 2x256GB SSDs in a RAID configuration, if one of them fails, the entire arrays goes down. I don't game, don't need the speed and even if I did, I would do this anyway.
